Simon has been leading and supporting organisational transformation through the successful delivery of projects, programs and portfolios for 25+ years. He has a held roles in a range of industries as a consultant, contractor and employee and been responsible for projects and programs valued at $100m+ and for portfolios that span multiple continents. ​With a background as an engineer followed by 10+ years in consulting, Simon is passionate about how technology can support people to deliver better. At RMIT he has been leading the uplift of project sponsorship through the review of all major projects as part of a mature Project Initiation Review (PIR) process.​ He is an active member of the Australian Institute of Project Management (registered as CPPD) and mentors other project managers. More recently Simon has been guest lecturing at the RMIT Bachelor of Project management.​ Outside of work Simon enjoys high-definition audio systems and vintage Italian cars.​
