They often skip the initial steps in helping you understand the problem to solve, then how to prepare yourself and your organisation first. This should begin with understanding what AI is, and specifically what it may mean to you and your organisation, will it impact your job, and how should you describe what should be done next to your boss?
This presentation is aimed at both those who already see some potential but don’t know what to do next, and those who have not yet had exposure to AI and have a little apprehension about it due to the unknown and rather confusing messaging in the media.
This presentation will demystify AI as it relates to project management and control and the project office specifically. This presentation will provide you with a process to use to help your organisation understand where AI may be of value, and then what to do about it.

We will unpack this journey in a way that you can describe it to your organisation as an overall roadmap for them to follow. This includes an understanding of personal use of AI; how AI interacts with existing systems and processes in a practical manner; and what value AI can provide but more importantly what has to be done as the groundwork before you even think about value. Which will help you see through what vendors are typically pitching at you as well.
We will list out typically questions you will get asked about AI by your organisation, and provide you with guidance on how to answer them. As everyone is fearful about the impact on their jobs we will look at some realities we are seeing, if there is an impact, and how you should adapt.
